Our Student health assessment Package involves a comprehensive evaluation of the physical, mental, emotional, and social health of students in schools.
This assessment is conducted by trained healthcare professionals or educators to identify any health issues that may be affecting the academic performance or general well-being of the students.

The assessment includes medical history takingphysical examinationslaboratory testsmental health screenings, and risk assessments.

The main goal of student health assessment in Uganda is to promote the health and well-being of students, prevent and control diseases, and improve academic performance through early detection, treatment, and management of health problems.

Vision to become a leading provider of high-quality, accessible, and affordable health assessment services to students across the country.

Mission is to identify and address any health issues that may impact a student’s academic performance, provide early interventions and referrals to appropriate health services, and empower students with knowledge and skills to make informed decisions about their health.

Objectives.

  1. To promote the health and well-being of students in Ugandan schools through comprehensive health assessments that identify and address any health issues that may impact their academic success.
  2. To provide early interventions and referrals to appropriate health services for students who require further evaluation and treatment.
  3. To empower students with knowledge and skills to make informed decisions about their health, including disease prevention, health promotion, and healthy lifestyle choices.
  4. To collaborate with schools and parents to create a supportive environment for student health and well-being.
  5. To contribute to the development of a healthy and productive population by promoting the health of Uganda’s future generations.

Our student health assessment includes;

  1. Medical history: Gathering information about the student’s medical history, including any chronic illnesses, allergies, medications, or surgeries.
  2. Physical examination: A comprehensive physical examination to assess the student’s overall health status, including vital signs, height, weight, body mass index (BMI), vision, hearing, and other key health indicators.
  3. Mental health evaluation: A mental health evaluation to assess the student’s emotional well-being, including any symptoms of depression, anxiety, or other mental health concerns.
  4. Dental examination: A dental examination to assess the student’s oral health status and identify any cavities or other dental issues that may require treatment.
  5. Immunization review: A review of the student’s immunization records to ensure that they are up-to-date with recommended vaccines.
  6. Health education and counseling: Providing education and counseling on a range of health topics, such as nutrition, physical activity, substance abuse, and sexual health.

Student health assessment can help identify any health issues that may require treatment or management, provide preventive care and education to promote good health habits, and support the overall well-being of the student.
